MUSEUM chiefs have rejected a suggestion by experts in law and medical ethics that the skeleton of an 18th century man known as the “Irish Giant” should be removed from display and buried at sea.

EXPERTS have called for the skeleton of Charles Byrne, the “Irish giant”, to be removed from a London museum where it has been on display for almost 200 years and buried at sea, as he wanted.
