GIVEN Dermot Ahern’s stated desire to do something for the Third World, and given that he is undoubtedly inspired as we all are by Brian Lenihan’s call to patriotism, perhaps Mr Ahern could kill two birds with one stone by simply bequeathing his retirement package to the Irish state.
