ANGRY Haitian mobs have lynched at least 45 people in recent weeks, accusing them of spreading a cholera outbreak that has killed over 2,500 people across the country, officials said.

THE first “isolated” cases of cholera were reported in the Haitian capital, amid fears yesterday that last weekend’s hurricane rains will hasten the spread of the disease in Port-au-Prince’s squalid refugee camps.
