BUILDING a national children’s hospital at a site other than the Mater could cut development costs by up to €86 million, a new report has found.

PLANNING permission for a new National Children’s Hospital on a site adjacent to the Mater in Dublin city centre will be lodged within two weeks, the government confirmed yesterday.
