Police in the North have arrested two men in connection with a series of bomb attacks on the homes and vehicles of Sinn Féin members in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

A Northern Ireland Office minister tonight condemned those who planted a pipe bomb under a Sinn Féin member’s van.

Loyalists were blamed after a pipe bomb was found today under a car belonging to a member of Sinn Féin.
