JEREMY MANNING’S late penalty helped Cork Constitution record their fifth consecutive win in Division One of the AIB League after an 18-16 victory away to Ballymena.

Highfield emerged as the most consistent team in the AIB League’s Division Three as they held off a late charge from Corinthians, to claim the league’s top spot in a 26-17 win at Woodleigh Park.

AS many as nine teams are still in contention for promotion from Division Three following the weekend’s encounters in the AIB League.
