A man charged with murdering another man in a crowded bar in Limerick ten days ago has been remanded in continuing custody.

A JURY was discharged last night after failing to reach a verdict in a case where a man was charged in connection with a sawn-off shotgun attack.

LIMERICK County Council is to be asked to cede its territory to city authorities to help combat crime in the troubled Moyross Estate.
