PROBLEMS in evicting drug dealers living in local authority housing in Killarney were highlighted at a town council meeting.

THE green light has been given for an extra 50 local authority houses in Killarney, which will go some way towards reducing a waiting list of more than 400 housing applicants.

THE loss of 147 industrial jobs, in Co Kerry, with a further 119 jobs also in serious danger, was described as a major blow to the area, last night.
