The jury in the trial of a man accused of making false allegations of indecent assault against broadcaster Eamon Dunphy has failed to reach an agreement after five hours of deliberations.

Broadcaster Eamon Dunphy was "drunk, crude and lewd" on the night he allegedly groped and kissed a bouncer outside a Leeson St nightclub, Dublin Circuit Criminal Court has heard.

Broadcaster Eamon Dunphy has denied that he indecently assaulted a man outside Cats Night Club on Leeson Street last year and that he slapped the man after kissing him on the cheek.

A trial in which broadcaster Eamon Dumphy is a central witness has been adjourned until 2pm today at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court shortly after a jury was sworn in this morning.

Gardai have renewed their appeal for the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a Dublin teenager missing from her home since last Wednesday.
