DUBLIN’S Eoin Kennedy was crowned Coca-Cola All-Ireland Senior Singles 60 x 30 Handball champion on Saturday night when he defeated Wexford’s Barry Goff 21-17, 21-16 in front of a capacity crowd at the Croke Park Handball Centre.

ARMAGH native Úna Kearney becomes the first lady from the Orchard county to take charge of a senior All-Ireland Camogie final when she takes charge of the meeting of Cork and Tipperary on September 19.

ALL but one of the Irish competitors were victorious on the first day of the Men's and Women's Open events in the World Handball Championships.
