A man has been jailed for life at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of a father-of-one.

The State Pathologist has told the trial of a man accused of murdering a father-of-one in North Dublin that the deceased had 30 stab wounds.

A 20-year-old and a 17- year-old male have been arrested this afternoon in the Dublin area in connection with the murder of Gerard Burnett on the 22nd of August at Castlecurragh Vale, Mulhuddart.

Gardaí last night were hunting for three men who carried out a savage doorstep stabbing which left a man dead.
