Endurance swimmer Steve Redmond says he may consider a second crack at the 80km Ireland-Wales swim after abandoning yesterday’s attempt for medical reasons.

Charity swimmer Steve Redmond has had to cut short his attempt to swim from Wexford to Wales after he developed hypothermia.

The public is being invited to attend the release of two rescued grey seal pups who are being put back into the wild today.
