Latest: A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 52 year old man in west Dublin.

The partner of a man who was fatally stabbed at her home on Wednesday night arrived at the scene shortly after the attack, it has emerged.

Counsel said that Freer should have had been linked in with social services but this didn't happen until gardaí raided his home.
