The brother of a man who died in unexplained circumstances four days after he had begged to be taken into psychiatric care has called for more funding in mental health.

The brother of a man found dead in his father’s garden told his inquest that his brother had pleaded to be admitted to a psychiatric facility following a suicide attempt four days previously but was refused because of "cutbacks".
