Residents of a Co Meath village are "devastated" after a 35-year-old pregnant woman was found in the sea near Howth.

Residents in the Co Meath village of Dunboyne were described as “devastated” last night after a 35-year-old pregnant woman was found in the sea near Howth.

Garda are today seeking the public's assistance in tracing 35-year-old Anna Byrne, who is missing from her home at Beechdale, Dunboyne, Co Meath.

PADDY O'Leary and his wife Gertie tried to be brave as objects bobbed about in nearly two feet of water in their ruined home on Botanic Avenue, Drumcondra. They have lived there for the past 35 years.
