Annika Sorenstam begins the defence of her own tournament in Sweden tomorrow hoping to salvage a difficult season.

Annika Sorenstam admitted it might be “rude” to win your own tournament but it did not stop her trying at the Scandinavian TPC at Barseback Golf Club in Sweden.

Sweden’s Liselotte Neumann retained the lead as terrible weather sent scores soaring in the second round of the Scandinavian TPC at Barseback Golf Club near Malmo in Sweden.

Liselotte Neumann birdied the 18th hole to complete a four-under-par 68 and top a leaderboard dominated by Swedes at the Scandinavian TPC near Malmo.
