Labour Senator Aodhán Ó Ríordáin is mounting a legal challenge to planning permission for apartments in Howth.

A former commander of the Real IRA was shot dead in a car park yesterday after “falling foul” of the leadership of a new alliance of terror groups.

Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in Howth in Co Dublin. His body was found at Balscadden Road this morning.
