The niece of a man shot in the back at a family funeral has said she was "in fear of her life" when gunmen opened fire outside a Sligo cemetery, the Central Criminal Court has heard.

A witness has told a jury that gardaí allowed him "drive into an ambush" of an assembled crowd of up to150 people.

A 30-year-old man has denied one murder and two attempted murders at a funeral in Sligo almost three years ago.
