A YOUNG skateboarder who rolled out in front of a passing motorbike suffered head injuries and a broken leg in the collision was awarded €240,000 in compensation yesterday.

Four Co Cork men were charged at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today in connection with the attempted firebombing of a house in Cork last March.
