Earlier this year I read about the controversial surrogacy case in Australia where the parents opted to reject one of the twins that had been born to a surrogate mother. The twin they rejected has Down’s Syndrome.

HOW utterly amusing (and let’s face it, gratifying too) to see big, brave fox and stag hunters running scared from the attentions of Environment Minister John Gormley.

IN HIS letter (June 16), John Jackson says ‘afforestation’ in Ireland needs a massive boost and the “barriers (to) afforestation which have been erected on very dubious scientific grounds” need to be examined.
