A high-speed passenger train slammed into another train in eastern China today, killing at least 70 people and injuring more than 400 in China’s worst train accident in a decade.

A high-speed passenger train came off the tracks and crashed into another train in eastern China today, killing at least 66 people and injuring more than 400, a state news agency reported.

Eighteen railway workers were killed and another nine injured when a high-speed train ran into them, China’s work safety watchdog said today.
