Work got underway today to dismantle one of Belfast’s best known police stations.

A decision will be taken today on whether to close down one of the most prominent police stations in the heart of republican West Belfast.

Sinn Fein Minister Bairbre de Brun today appealed to Ulster Unionist cabinet colleagues in the beleaguered Stormont Executive not to pull down the power-sharing institutions.
