WE were disappointed to read about the Fine Gael response to the cost of providing interpreters in garda stations and in the courts (January 1).

THANKS you for your coverage of proceedings in Cork District Court where the judge asked two Polish interpreters to define the word ‘ambiguity’ and they were unable to do so (October 12).

THE Irish Writers’ Union (IWU) was disappointed by the article (Irish Examiner, February 20) on Public Lending Right (PLR).
