Two sisters orphaned when their parents and grandmother were shot dead while on holiday in the French Alps nine months ago can be brought up by relatives, a High Court judge has ruled.

A girl of four who survived the French Alps shooting spree has returned to the UK, while her seriously injured older sister has come out of a coma following the attack that left their parents dead.

Four-year-old Zeena al-Hilli has spoken to French police about the attack which killed her mother and father, prosecutor Eric Maillaud said today.
