It will be at least four years before Ireland grace the top tier of European U18 girls hockey after a penalty shoot-out defeat to Russia saw them relegated yesterday.

ULSTER will begin their bid to continue their domination of the girls’ underage interprovincials at Alexandra College tomorrow, as the U16 and U18 showpieces get underway.
