Michael Jackson’s mother should pay the promoter of her son’s ill-fated comeback concerts more than $800,000 in costs associated with her failed negligent hiring lawsuit, an American judge has indicated.

With a jury’s refusal to hold a concert promoter responsible for Michael Jackson’s death, the late singer’s mother lost perhaps her last best chance to collect millions in damages and place blame for her son’s untimely demise.

Randy Phillips made the eerie claim to jurors at the ongoing wrongful death lawsuit his family have brought against the concert promoters.
