Tens of thousands have rallied in Pakistan’s largest city in support of a 14-year-old girl shot and critically wounded by the Taliban for promoting girls’ education and criticising the militant group.

Pakistani police have arrested a number of suspects in the case of a 14-year-old girl shot in the head by the Taliban after promoting girls’ education and speaking out about the group’s atrocities.

The Taliban has vowed to hunt down and kill a Pakistani teenager they shot earlier this week.
