A couple who planned the "cold-blooded" murder of a pensioner in order to claim his life insurance have been jailed for a combined 60 years.

Police in southwestern Pakistan have detained 36 people, mostly Afghan refugees, over a suicide bombing inside a courtroom that killed a judge and 15 other people, an official said today.
