A waitress was lucky to escape serious injury when she was attacked and punched in the face by a woman who believed she had “disrespected her man”, Bantry District Court was told yesterday.

A British ex-boxer was yesterday jailed after ‘egging’ on his fiancee to beat up an innocent waitress who allegedly disrespected him in a West Cork restaurant.
