MICHEÁL QUIRKE turned in the performance of the afternoon and probably the best of his entire career as he inspired Abrakebabra Tigers to a spectacular 95-88 victory over St Vincent’s to claim a place in the final of the National Cup.

BOTH the Abrakebabra Tigers coach Dave Falvey, and the Limerick Lions coach Tom Hehir were left holding their heads in disbelief after Tigers had snatched an 89-92 victory and the vital NIVEA for MEN SuperLeague points on the buzzer at UL Arena yesterday afternoon.
