Sixty people have been killed after a bomb ripped through a busy vegetable market in the Pakistani city of Quetta, a police chief has said.

One person was killed and 10 others injured when a bomb attached to a motorcycle exploded near a police checkpoint in south-west Pakistan, an official said today.
