Alan King, Martin Pipe and Nigel Twiston-Davies shared the training honours on the New Year’s Day card at Cheltenham by notching doubles.

Martin Pipe started the New Year back in the winner’s circle at Cheltenham after 7-4 favourite Waterlaw made all the running in the Cheltenham & Three Countries Race Club Handicap Chase.
