Fuel oil leaking from an empty 3,000 tonne petrol tanker grounded on the east Cornwall coast has formed a kilometre long film.

The Coastguard near Plymouth in the UK have said a crack has developed in the hull of the tanker which went aground there last night and there is a possibility it could split in two.

Dozens of people have been evacuated from their homes because of the potential danger of an explosion on a 3,000 tonne fuel tanker.
