The Eoin Doyle-trained Mazuri Cowboy proved a shock and fortunate winner of a dramatic Lyons Of Limerick Jaguar Land Rover Hurdle at Limerick yesterday.

The beautifully bred Speckled Wood seems to have a decent future, after coasting to victory in the Holy Cross Mares’ Maiden Hurdle at Thurles yesterday.
