The High Court will rule later this month if Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney has breached undertakings given in respect of a legal action brought against the department by two of its employees.

The High Court is to be asked on Friday to make orders directing Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney to show good cause as to why he should not be jailed for contempt of court.

A bid may be made soon to jail Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney for contempt of court, the High Court was told.
