Conditions for the final day of the ASM Marine Frostbite League at Kinsale Yacht Club on Sunday morning did not look promising initially but by race time the south-westerly breeze had strengthened to a welcome force three.

Despite early indications that a repeat of the previous two weeks’ unseasonal lack of wind would once again threaten to interrupt the league programme, the ASM Frostbite Series continued on Sunday at Kinsale Yacht Club.

Spending restrictions were placed on an outdoor education centre after it was punished for allowing “bad practices” to feed a serious deficit problem.
