LAST year's winner Student Pass can make a successful opening defence of his crown in heat one of the Guinness Trophy at Curraheen Park tonight.

STUDENT PASS, who won the stake last year, heads a good-class entry for the Guinness Trophy at Curraheen Park, the draw for which was made at Guinness House, Cork yesterday by Michael Lyons, Southern Sales Manager, Diageo.

A week ago we reported that Tyrur Ted was set to challenge for the Derby Lane Million in Florida next February but there is now a possibility that he will be joined on the trip by another Irish trained greyhound, Superhods Hero.
