THE Law Reform Commission has called for new laws to require the Government to provide counselling for families with adopted children.

THE Department of Foreign Affairs was aware that three-year-old Tristan Dowse was left in an orphanage by his family a year ago, however the investigation into the legality of the adoption only began last week.

AT the Immanuel orphanage where he was left with some clothes and a small box of toys, three-year-old Tristan Dowes is known as “the Irish boy”.
