TRINTECH, a former high flier on the Nasdaq in the pre-dotcom bubble days, suffered a setback in the third quarter of 2005, it announced yesterday.

CASH-rich Trintech, which reported revenues for the third quarter broadly in line with expectations, is unlikely to follow Conduit and Riverdeep down the management buy-out route (MBO), brokers Dolmen speculated yesterday.

Trintech has appointed David Leech as a member of the company's Advisory Board.
