2011 champions Athy booked their place in the Kildare SFC semi-finals thanks to a 0-10 to 0-7 victory against Moorefield on Saturday.

The first major coarse angling competition of the 2012 season was held at the Inniscarra Lake last month using the Garden Centre Stretch, Rooves Bay and St John’s sections.
