A cousin of a traveller shot in the back at a family funeral in Sligo 1999 has said the deceased man shouted "I’m shot, I’m shot" before collapsing into the drivers seat of a moving car.

The uncle of a man shot in the back at a family funeral has denied suggestions that he was "looking for a fight" outside a Sligo cemetery, the Central Criminal Court has heard.

A witness has told a jury that gardaí allowed him "drive into an ambush" of an assembled crowd of up to150 people.
