After 10 weeks of blanching, boiling, and trying not to burn, Tamarin Blackmur has been crowned MasterChef Ireland champion.

Just 10 weeks ago there were 16 chefs hoping to roast, bake — and the new must-do, “sous-vide” — their way to the title of MasterChef Ireland champion.

The MasterChef Ireland final runs over two nights, Wednesday and Thursday, on RTÉ Two. The remaining three contestants are Nicha Maguire, Tamarin Blackmur and Terry Lyons.
