A radiologist who made serious errors in a number of his CT scan reports was last night found guilty of poor professional performance at a medical inquiry in Dublin. The matter of sanctions against him will be determined at a later date.

CONCERN is mounting that the HSE is planning to close even more nursing home beds in a west Cork hospital.

ELDERLY residents at Clonakilty Community Hospital have been told to pack up their belongings and move from their long-stay rooms as the HSE plans to close eight beds.
