SECURITY and recruitment firm Newcourt Group made a profit of €2.2 million in 2005, its first year as a quoted company.

The newly listed Newcourt Group has announced its first set of results since its admission to the Irish Enterprise Exchange last November. The company is involved in the security and recruitment sectors.

Food care company Norish has narrowed its pre-tax losses, but has also lowered dividends and says it faces a tough year ahead.
