GALWAY qualified for the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Camogie Semi-Final, having survived the severest of stress tests from a vibrant Waterford at Semple Stadium.

IT WAS a pillar-to-post victory for Clonduff as they grabbed their first AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Club Camogie title but they were pushed all the way by a youthful Gailltír side.

Waterford 2-9 Kildare 1-5: Waterford have endured much heartbreak since making the step-up to the intermediate ranks in 2012 but after a deserved victory over a valiant Kildare unit, they will now be preparing for top flight camogie next year.
