The Thai actress at the centre of the row that has led to anti-Thai riots in Cambodia has gone into hiding with relatives in Bangkok.

Demonstrators looted and set fire to the Thai Embassy in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh today when police allowed a protest against a soap star to get out of control.
