Indonesia is to prosecute an Egyptian accused of putting hundreds of asylum seekers on a boat that sank on a voyage to Australia last month, killing more than 370 people.

Two police officers have been arrested for allegedly participating in a people smuggling operation which resulted in the death of 374 refugees.

More than 100 people have died in inter-communal violence in the Indonesian part of Borneo.
