Hollywood starlet Scarlett Johansson and Irish co-star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers stepped out at the Cannes Film Festival tonight at the premiere of their latest film.

Neurotic film-maker Woody Allen penned a $2m (€1.6m) book deal with publishers Harpercollins for his autobiography, which was supposed to be a no-holds-barred account of his life.

HarperCollins UK has made an offer for the rights for Woody Allen’s yet-unwritten memoirs, a spokeswoman said at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
