Water meter protesters have been forced to withdraw from part of a Cork housing estate after complaints from long-time residents.

The latest anti-water meter campaigners in Cork have defended their right to protest after angry exchanges with some of their neighbours yesterday.

Residents in another Cork housing estate are protesting this morning against the installation of Irish Water meters.
