Two young Irish scouts are being hailed as heroes after one fearlessly jumped 20ft into a river and the other pulled a 14-year-old Turkish boy to safety after he hit his head and was in danger of drowning.

BILLY COLEMAN, arguably Ireland’s greatest rally driver, will be honoured this evening at the Motorsport International Show at the Simmonscourt Pavilion where a video entitled Tarmac Titans will be launched.

The Irish registered Meritus Racing team, based in Daventry, has formed a working relationship with the former double winning British Formula 3 Championship team, Manor Motorsport of Sheffield.
